A One-of-a-Kind Listening Experience
All about life, love, passion, tenacity, and perseverance. Think Insecure meets Sex and the City ;)
Who are We?
Daniel J. Dunn
A multi-hyphenate talent manager/marketer by day and podcaster by night, I pride myself on curating each episode on a foundation of research, personal experience, and quite frankly a bit of influence from those closest to me. I have always grown up with a lot on my mind, and at times it has gotten me into a bit of trouble, and other times it has been what has helped me stand out from the rest of my peers.
My favorite hobbies include cooking, listening to music, trying new places to eat, shopping, and going on nature walks (granted its not in the spring).
If I were asked what inspired me to restart Self Therapy, I would have to say theres no time like the present…(and I needed a hobby). Looking forward to parasocially building a longstanding relationship with you guys :)!!
Kennedy E. Torres
Hi everyone, I’m Kennedy! I’m Self Therapy’s editor and copywriter. I’m here to ensure that podcast episodes are of great quality, and to assist with marketing and planning content that will connect with you all. I’m so excited to see what the future of Self Therapy holds and to hear what y’all think about the podcast!
I love shopping, hiking, traveling, going out with friends, listening to music, reading, and writing. All of these must be paired with trying new food and dining out.
Why Does Self Therapy Matter?
In an oversaturated sea of podcasts, it’s so important that diverse voices are heard; Black, queer voices specifically. I feel it’s an honor to step foot, not for the first time, into a room where I don’t look like I belong and hopefully make a lasting impression, while also opening the floor for more people who look, sound, and move like me to do the same.
